FAQ

Are all bags one of one?

Yes.

Because each piece is made from limited deadstock materials, fabrics cannot be replicated once they are gone. Even when using similar tones, no two bags are ever identical.

What does deadstock mean?

Deadstock refers to brand-new fabric that remains unused from mills or manufacturers. It may be surplus or end of line, but it has never been worn or reprocessed.

It differs from recycled fabric, which has been broken down and remade. Deadstock is original material that would otherwise go to waste.

Due to its limited nature, quantities are finite.

Why use real leather?

Real leather is durable, repairable, and designed to last for decades. It develops character over time rather than deteriorating.

Faux leather is plastic-based and typically cracks or peels within years. These bags are designed for longevity.

The leather used is a by-product of the meat industry, meaning existing material is utilised rather than replaced with synthetic alternatives.

Where are the bags made?

Every bag is designed and handmade by Kiera in Scotland.

All materials are personally sourced and each piece is cut, constructed, and finished individually.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 working days.

Shipping typically takes 2 to 5 working days within the UK.

Custom pieces require additional time, depending on sourcing and construction.

Do you offer custom orders?

Yes.

Custom enquiries are welcome via the Contact page. Materials can be sourced in specific tones or textures while maintaining the structural integrity and heritage aesthetic of the brand.

Lead times apply.

Will you restock sold-out designs?

Once a fabric is gone, it cannot be repeated.

New designs will be released as materials are sourced, but past pieces are rarely replicated.

How should I care for my bag?

Please refer to the Care Guide for detailed instructions on leather, tweed, and hardware maintenance.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, shipping is UK only.

If you are based internationally and interested in a piece, please get in touch to discuss options.

Now I’m going to elevate this slightly further.

Consider adding one strong positioning question at the bottom:

Why invest in a Kiera Jane bag?

Because each piece is:

Designed by a trained fashion designer
Made from finite materials
Constructed with real leather
Produced in limited quantities in Scotland
Built for longevity rather than trends

That anchors value right before checkout.
